Traditional Surfing Challenge - A Very Long Learning Curve

This is what you Normally Do When Learning to Surf an Ocean Wave for the First 4-8 Hours:
  1. Learn to paddle into the wave
  2. Develop the arm and chest strength to successfully achieve the speed necessary
  3. Develop the strength, coordination & timing to "pop up" at the right moment
  4. Learn to get your feet into the right position during step 3

For those with the Patience to Progress, here is what you accomplish in the next 4-8 Hours:
  1. Develop the skill to begin surfing in the 1-2 seconds that you have to react after you "pop up", & get into the right position
  2. As you paddle in & "pop up" the next 20 to 50 times, you begin to develop the timing and coordination necessary to catch the wave.
  3. Hopefully you catch a few good rides, and ride for 3-8 seconds each time.

The Reality of Learning to Surf:
  1. If you "pop up" several hundred times, over several days or several weeks, you may catch some good waves, and get a few good rides, in the 3-8 second range.
  2. You will NOT begin to develop your advanced turning, weight distribution, cutting, or pumping skills at all during the first 20 hours that you spend in the water.
  3. The likelihood that you have FUN in the first 2-4 hours is relatively LOW.
  4. You will NOT emerge from your first 2-4 hours in the ocean with quality video of you having fun surfing.

The likelihood that you have FUN in the ocean after learning the Surf-Thirty approach with us is much higher, as your skills are 100% transferable, and once you stand up, your balance, foot placement, and turning skills will be fully developed.
