TO LAUNCH THE BOAT - GOING DOWN
(To get the boat off of the lift and onto the water)
  1. Unlock and open the control box using the key.  Normally, when you open the box, the Rapid Launch Handle (R in the center of the console) is in the down position (closed) and the Valve Handle (V on the right) is in the “DRY DOCK” position. (pointing "down" towards the GFCI)
  2. Raise the Rapid Launch Handle (R in center of console) to the up position (open).  The handle needs to raise approximately 3 inches.  (Give it a good pull straight up)
  3. Rotate Valve Handle (V at right) to “LIFT/LAUNCH” position.  The handle rotates counter clock-wise about 90 degrees.  (It will be pointing to the right when properly opened)
  4. When the boat is floating freely, rotate the Valve Handle (V at right) to “DRY DOCK” (clock wise about 90 degrees, to where it points "down" again) and close the Rapid Launch Handle (R in the center of the console)  (press down approximately 3 inches so that it is almost flush with the front panel)
  5. Close & lock the control box

TO LIFT THE BOAT - GOING UP
(To put the boat up and away after session)
  1. Unlock and open the control box using the key.  Normally, when you open the box, the Rapid Launch Handle (R in the center of the console) is in the down position (closed) and the Valve Handle (V on the right) is in the “DRY DOCK” position. (pointing "down" towards the GFCI)
  2. Position the boat over lift (note that for our installation, we want the bow of the boat to be lined up with the edge of the dock, and the boat to be centered over the 2 blue tanks)
  3. Verify that the Rapid Launch Handle (R in the center of the console) is in the down position (closed)  In this position, the handle is flush with the front panel.
  4. Rotate the Valve Handle (V on the right) to the “LIFT/LAUNCH” position. The handle rotates counter clock-wise about 90 degrees.  (It will be pointing to the right when properly opened)
  5. Turn Blower Switch to “ON”.  (B at the left)  NOTE: If blower does not activate, reset the GFCI switch.
  6. Release boat when lift rises and contacts the hull.
  7. When large air bubbles appear from under the tanks, turn Blower Switch (B at the left) to “OFF” and rotate the Valve Handle (V on the right) to “DRY DOCK”.  (clock wise about 90 degrees, to where it points "down" again)
  8. Close & lock the control box
